This is your run of the mill organic, hippie earth-muffin grocer. If I recall correctly, it's part of a small chain, so I can't exactly call it independent. I've been in twice now - once for lunch via the salad bar and a rotisserie chicken, and once for some produce that I couldn't find at Publix. The chicken was generic and the salad bar had a lot of fresh offerings to pick and choose from. It's definitely a bit more pricy than regular grocers, but if you're dead-set on organic and you're on that side of town, it makes sense. The little dining area was clean and simple. I wouldn't want to really hang out there, but it works for grabbing a bite while on the go. It was a little iffy for service in trying to pin someone down to help with a decision on powder supplements for my friend. The woman working that area was really engrossed with talking to a couple and it was futile getting anyone else to really get an answer. Basically, it's fine for me if I'm in the area and want that sort of thing, but I'm not going out of my way.

Earth Origins has a pretty good salad bar and prepared foods section. They have a lot of organic produce, and vegan options such as vegan cheese, vegan sour cream, and many meat substitutes. While Earth Origins does have a lot of options, they are extremely expensive and I have seen a few things that they also have at the regular supermarket almost double the price. I usually go here if I need one or two specialty items, or I wanna grab some vegan potato salad or use their salad bar, however, I wouldn't recommend doing some serious grocery shopping unless you have lots and lots of money to spend on groceries.

This grocery store has some great stuff; It offers great, different deals every month, plus 10% off every Wednesday. Get the reward card and they will send you discount via email up to 15% off , and sometime 10$ coupons. This place has almost all the produce organic. It can be pricey if you don't plan your grocery list at home.

Maybe my expectations were too high, but I wasn't all that impressed with this market. Before I talk about what I don't like, I will first say that the people working there are very helpful and friendly. There is a great selection of organic nuts and grains and ethnic food you will not find in regular supermarkets. The problem I have is mainly the prices. Not the prices for specialty items, but the items you can find at your local Publix but for two or three dollars more on average. That's not a good look... The produce didn't look all that fresh and the prices were again high. No reason to pay these prices when you can get better quality fruits and veggies elsewhere much cheaper. Will I ever come here again? Maybe, but I certainly won't go out of my way when there are better options in the area. It's a shame because it is Very close to where I live.

All the produce is organic which is enough to get a 5 star review from me and not true of other health food stores (whole foods). If you are looking for something specific outside of produce (beyond meat for example) you may have to look elsewhere but this place is really a gem

Excellent lunch at Earth Origins today! I ate instead the store while running errands! Such a kind staff all the time and delicious food made right in front of you :) I would highly recommend this to friends for a local store and food on the go!

This is becoming a wonderful organic clean food grocery store with affordable prices. Some of the staff people though are uninformed. They really need good upscale staff that dress & look well to compliment their high class and beautiful store.

Good selection of healthy and organic foods...not too bad in price on some items. More convenient location than whole foods. Will visit here often.

I have been here many times over the years but since it's a bit further than other healthy grocers, I don't go as often. With that said, I went recently and I think it's better than it was in the past. The vegetable and fruit department has definitely taken a step in the better direction. Everything was beautiful, organic, priced well and super clean. I think they have overhauled the place a bit and cleaned it up and it shows. Kudos for that. They have 3 aisles of every natural homeopathic herb and pill you can imagine. They have a very clean and nice looking salad bar which was consistently cleaned and added to when I was there. They have a wonderful juice bar with a very helpful hipster cutie. He was very knowledgeable made me want to hang out and do shots with him. Wheat grass shots, that is. They have a fantastic frozen foods section and even a very large pet section which was nice. I am always whining and complaining that we don't have a Trader Joe's here. This is pretty close (NOT PRICE WISE BUT PRODUCT WISE). I would recommend them more now than I would have in the past and it's nice to see a store get better than get worse over the years.

Earth Origins is a great little neighborhood organic market. I really appreciate the quality of their produce and the wide range of raw nuts they carry. Each time I visit, I always stop at the juice bar and get fresh veggie juice. They put apple, beets, ginger (hold the garlic), and a number of green veggies into it. It tastes so good, I sometimes just go there to get the juice. I think their prices are a little high for the vitamins, but in a pinch, I can always find what I need. The salad bar is also nice and the new cafe offers a place to sit and eat your lunch. The proximity of the store to the Pinellas Trail is convenient for a quick healthy food stop while you are out riding during the day. ABC Bikes is right next door so you can also stop and get some new gadgets for your bike while you're there.

For a specialty grocer and deli, it's rather dirty. The deli section in the back with the trays of salads is filthy. Maybe all delis are, but maybe better at keeping it hidden. Not here. Yikes! Much of what makes a specialty organic store unique (and essential) is its offering of select products you just can't find anywhere else. Nature's Finest could put all those things it offers uniquely in one or two aisles. The majority of the store is stuff (surrounding the unique items) you'd find at the Publix...only here you'll just pay more.

Stopped in tonight to check the place out. We were quite surprised to see how large the place was and to see how large the selection was. They had just about everything you could ask for from a health food store. The produce looked quite fresh and was almost all organic. They had a hot line, deli line, as well as a small salad bar. It also had a decent sized market with health oriented offerings. You really couldn't ask for much more.

Love the natural and organic food selections - and the available meat/deli ones too (those can sometimes be hard to find). Prices are not as competitive as Rollin Oats or TJ's but they are still comprable when you think of the gas you spend to drive to either. I'm not sure how I didn't realize how close I was. Wish they pushed reusable bags/recycling a little more too.

This is a very nice health food market with a good food bar (including shrimp and chicken dishes). The hot foot area was mostly picked over when I was there, so maybe it's really good too? They have a nice dining area section. They have some good offerings including Brown Cow yogurt and other specialty brands that are worth discovering. There is a surfboard shop, bicycle store next door (and across the street), and the Kraft Cafe is opening up next door so this is a cool spot to be sporty, eat well, and live well. :)

I've shopped here for many years before the name change. I don't go as often as I would like since a distance from my house. Everyone that works here has always been friedly and helpful. They have good salads in the cold cases and a great salad bar. The produce is also very good. My one complaint is that it is pretty dirty. I bought items from the bulk food bins and it was filthy. Like it has not been wiped down and anything washed in a very long time. In addition the scale and the floor were also very dirty. I went over to the cold case and there was a dead fly laying on top of the hunmus. There needs to be some serious cleaning going on in this store. The cleanliness is my only issue.

As soon as you walk in, any person use to the aroma most organic stores/markets has will feel the nostalgia and satisfaction that this is a legit place. They have great choices in food. Very well in stocked. They have a lot of items you won't find at Trader Joes, Whole foods, Henry's, or etc. But it's the same for the latter as well. I enjoyed their unique selections of food and very friendly staff.

Went in for lunch after school around noon. I've eaten here many times from their hot-bar and cold-bar (prepared foods section), but today was too out of this world not to mention. I brought home their blackened salmon and also a small cup of eggplant lasagna, and I feel like both were so excellent that it's not fair to the rest of my life! And together was only $7.. Also walked out with a Justin's dark chocolate organic peanut butter cup! :) (wayy better than Reese's cups might I add)

I was so excited to see Earth Origins market when we first moved to this area and soooo disappointed when I actually shopped there. I've been there twice now. Like every other produce department in TB they think nothing of presenting ROTTEN produce for sale all prettied up in styrofoam and plastic wrap. I just don't get it. I would shop here for pantry items ONLY and bring your checkbook 'cause it's gonna cost ya! Back to Publix for reliable GMO produce that at least is not rotten and still has some nutritional value. Next year, I put in a garden! I guess I compare every FL organic market to Native Sun in Jacksonville and this ain't it!

Tis' rather ironic that since I rarely shop at organic/health food stores I end up going to two in two days and then review both. Compared to Rollin'oats this place is a little less about style and a little more substantial if your the "I take 12 supplements a day" health nut kind of person. The organic selection is great particularly in the frozen foods department. The produce is expensive and could have just as much of a warm fuzzy feeling inside if I went to a local produce stand and shopped for produce there and spend less money. As I hinted, they have many, many, many, many different kinds of supplements, natural cure stuff, and vitamins. Since it is an organic store I could forgive myself for the great sin of eating sushi from a supermarket, but it really was just OK and didn't compare to rollin'oats sushi. In fact most of the deli items we tried also fell a little short, but perhaps I was comparing it to the positive experience I had at the sandwich counter in Rollin'oats just the day before. Anyway, they have squid ink pasta which I stocked up on, as well as big container of olives from t he olive bar. The staff here is real friendly though, and that can help a lot!

Great Natural Food store and Deli in St. Pete. Good prices, amazing food and salad bar. Favorite salad is veggie crunch. Wouldn't go anywhere else in town for supplements--this place is way lower than Rolling Oats and even comes close to online prices, and you have them in your hands right away.

is there anything harder to write a review of than a grocery store? i mean seriously, what do you say? they have produce, they have groceries, you check out etc. that being said, nature's finest is my grocery store in st pete. it's a pretty small store and the selection is limited for sure, but for people with special diets, especially vegan or vegetarian diets the place is a godsend. the frozen section has more "fake meat" style comfort food than you can shake a stick at. this alone gets it 4 stars. the grocery section is small but most of it contains a lot of vegan friendly foods. expect to pay though. almost everything is organic and branded so nothing is really cheap. also, if you are into vitamins and supplements at least 1/4 of the store is give over to those so there is no shortage of stuff to check out there (i buy all of my plant protein powder here.) the produce is really nothing special, and i suspect you could do matter at the saturday market, even though i have never been so in a nutshell....looking for organics and lots of them or vegan type food, go here. not looking for that....go to publix and save $$

Nature's Finest is an organic grocery store that also has a deli counter inside where you can get sandwiches to go. I've never really been a huge organic food eater, but this place is where you'd go if you were. They even sell organic pet food, which I find a little funny. They have lots of products I've never even heard of from hemp soaps to fancy oatmeals. Everything your average grocery store would carry but in organic form. They also have a salad bar where you can prepare a salad in the store and take it out to go style. It's a neat place to spend a few hours of your afternoon if you've never seen lots of organic products together. The staff is generally helpful and appear like "earth-biscuits'' themselves (a nickname one of my english professor's used)- long hair and dreads mostly.

I've been craving Synergy Kombucha (Guava Goddess) for months. I was so excited to find a health store close by which carried it so I bought a case of the stuff. I'm in heaven now. Nature's Finest is fine. Great staff, wonderful selection of products and a kick-ass deli. I had the Hot Deli combo with a wonderfully tender BBQ chicken thigh, black beans and a Spinach/Rice casserole. They have a decent bulk section and a raw food section. AND they have my favorite Greek Yougurt. It was like seeing old friends again. I'll be coming back here often!

If I had to make a comparison, this is the Winn-Dixie of health food stores. You're glad it's there, the lights are on, there's customer service and samples...it works! The prices aren't as sky-high as I've seen, there is a very decent-sized by-the-pound dry food section and herb section, a large frozen food section, a good amount of produce packed into a small section, a salad bar, and a deli with lots of options. Hey - it even tastes pretty good! There's a little dining area crammed off to the side of the cash registers with a flat screen TV where you can eat your vegan ice cream in relative peace.

Employees were very friendly.Tried & purchased a few deli items that were yummy, but wish they had a larger selection. Closest thing I've found to a Whole Foods or Central Market in this area so far. A bit pricey on most items. Will shop there again.
